MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY — A Paducah man accused of sexual contact with a minor was acquitted of all charges.

On Wednesday, a jury found Jay Owen not guilty on all five counts of first degree sexual abuse.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department had said Owen was accused of having illegal sexual contact with a minor several times between March 2016 and November 2017.

Local 6 was in the courtroom Wednesday evening as McCracken County Circuit Court Judge Tim Kaltenback read the verdict. The jury reached the verdict during day two of the trial.
